Went to ER with seizures, and they made me feel like I was making it up. They didn't do a physical assessment at all. Discharged me with high blood pressure, throbbing headache, and chest pain. They were horrible, and do not care about patients. Doctor barely appeared to be listening to me. Thank God they are not the only hospital around. I wish I could have given 0 stars. The only reason they received such a high rating with Medicare is because they won't get paid if they don't receive good patient satisfaction reports. Lac... read more

My husband had a total hip replacement here by Dr Vaughn and we could not be more pleased with this facility! The building may be a bit older and things may not be all fancy and new but it's incredibly clean and I observed sanitary precautions on every floor and room we were in. And never have I been treated with such genuine care and respect from a health facility anywhere. From pre-admission to cafeteria to all the wonderful staff on floor 3! I came in with my PICC line bleeding. The lady that registered me saw me and saw I was bleeding and got in absolutely no hurry. Keep in mind no one was before me. She was extremely rude so I'm sure I was probably rude back. She evidently does not realize that she has a job because of individuals coming in. I would rate you a 1 but, once I got back there people were very kind. Kay Cox put in my PICC line and thank God she was there last night. She is a very kind and thorough. We had 2 ER visits recently. The staff were efficient and caring.
