In March of 2015 I was taken to Stephen County Hospital. The quick response by highly trained ER nursing staff and NP my life was saved. I was transferred to ICU later my condition turn worst the nursing staff quickly realized that I need to be transferred to a lager hospital with more specialized care. However while a lager hospital may be more specialized the nursing care was no where as good nor as professional as right here at Stephens County Hospital bigger is not always better. Lavonia's "Die Cobb" is Terrible. They Dirty at that hospital & I mean Dirty as Hell.
Surgical floor staff took excellent care of me during my recent stay. The nurses and techs are caring . They explained things to me and treated me with respect. Shout out to the nurses that took care were my nurses Melissa, Kelly, Jewell and techs Nicole and David you were awesome.
Great pediatric unit upstairs .. All 3 times my daughter has been admitted they have took great care of her
I wouldn't bring my dog here! Very rude staff and unprofessional
