I've been once due to extremely low blood sugar. The doctor was great, the nurse was great. And also rode by ambulance, I was fine! Thank you for what y'all do!
Went to ER tonite had chest pains. I was in the back in less than a min. Everything turned out ok with me after EKG’s and Chest X-rays was done. The Dr and nurses was very professional!! THANK YALL SO MUCH
Better doctors, and staff
I was a patient on the surgical floor at Stephens County Hospital and had to have my gallbladder removed. The staff took excellent care of me and kept me over night!! I have had friends that were sent home immediately following this same surgery at other hospitals. I am so thankful that we have such a wonderful hospital so close to us with excellent staff who truly care for their patient's health.

I waited well over an hour an a half with a sick child, only for nurses to loose my son’s paperwork! Not one person came to check on him, or bother to look for his paperwork. The nurses did however have time to sit and giggle and do nothing for my son! Do not take your family members here!
very professional staff that cares about their patients. The last five years my family have been treated very well. Dr. Birdsong has been great. I am glad we have him here at the Hospital.
My mother in law was here on the 3rd floor for outpatient surgery this week. Shout out to the most awesome staff. David was our favorite.
I have had many experiences with SCH but yesterday, I was really hurting and my daughter took me to the ER. It was my first time for my own care at ER. I am 81 and have lived in Toccoa for 24 years. I was totally impressed. I was put in a room within 3 minutes and the care and information that I received in the about 5 hours I spent there was amazing.
