I had lasik because I was getting near-sighted. My left eye turned out fine. I was concerned about my right eye because I had a pterygium and astigmatism - Dr. Wilmarth performed the lasik anyway telling me, confidently, that my right eye problems wouldn't make a difference. Other MDs have since said it should not have been done. The results were unsuccessful. I am now left with terrible vision in my right eye - much worse than when I first went to him.
