I tore my bicep in June of 2024. I visited Dr Desio in the fall of 2024 for a review. At this point I had completely healed, had full use of my arm with no pain. He told me that if I didn't have arthroscopic surgery, one of my bones metastasize, and eventually start irrecoverable pain. I had no pain and complete mobility. In November of 2024 I had a second opinion and two people said that I don't need any surgery. They almost laughed when I said the bone would metastasize. I never had surgery. Dr. Desio repaired my right shoulder rotator cuff last year and I had my left side done in February 2023. Both surgery’s went flawlessly, the procedure was well explained and everything went as expected, including a little more work while in there. We had a billing snafu with the hospital, Dr. Desio’s staff picked up on it and helped to resolve the issue. Dr Desio replaced both of my knees. He is a great guy in the office and in the OR. Easy to talk with without him "talking down." He is a super athlete and understands the unique problems athletes incur. I would recommend him to anyone. He has Doug, his PA that does a lot of the pre and post things. A great guy too! He has what may be the easiest office staff to work with anywhere! What your ortho guy shoule be!
Dr. Desio and his staff were great. They were very informative and kind throughout the process of my knee surgery. Thanks again to him and all on his staff.
Drs Desio and Fellows are both great on all spheres. The manager of the office, cheryl, is rude, defensive, recalcitrant, obtuse, obese, Disrespectful; Listening skills suck. Was argumentative over data what she was plain wrong about. Medical providers: Great, The Office manager: Awful
