My overall experience was great
Dr. Mendelson is very nice and pleasant, but what I don’t care for that he trust his staff if there is an error with there appointment books. I canceled my appointment and the staff put a missed appointment. They are not being truthful with appointments.
Outstanding doctors and staff. Answer all questions and very professional in every aspect.
Dr. Mendelson did my first hip 6 years ago. I live about 40 minutes away from his office, and could have found another Dr. To replace the other hip, but it was never a consideration. I have been satisfied with him. His staff is outstanding, as are the rest of his surgical team. I'm not in any hurry to have another joint replaced, but Dr. Mendelson will be first on my list if I need to.
Very confident with having Dr. Mendelson replace my knees. He thoroughly explained all options to me.
Horrible bedside manner. had the nerve to reprimand me in his office for being upset at what i saw on my xray and crying - all this after 3 yrs of trying to tell the surgeon and pain mgmt doctor there i was in agony and loosing function of my arm. 1st time seeing him he didnt want to hear anything from me just wanted me to listen to him. said smoking caused the screw to break and take chunk of good bone with it and it also caused plate to disconnect at top and loosen 2 more screws. yea, smoking did that. ok.

Do not go to him he did a partial knee on me in August 2017 it is a year later i am swollen up I have throbbing pain all day it hurts to bend. I am hurting bad. Then he request to do a full knee no way. I tried to get his brothers to do it but they refuse. Do your homework before going here. The Synergy center staff is nice but this physician makes wrong choices he only cares about money not the patient.
Dr. Mendelson put me in a life threatening condition. He didn't take my condition seriously, didn't listen to my concerns, & acted inappropriately (brought a fake axe in the room when I was awaiting a procedure). He told me that my procedure was going to be extremely painful, although it wasn't, just to keep me in an uncomfortable and excruciating state. He gave me a cortisone shot without telling me (didn't find out until a week later). Would not wish my experience with him on my worst enemy.
