Dr. Akbari and her staff is friendly, knowledgeable and show compassion. They listened to my concerns and thoroughly explained the plan of care. Furthermore, when a message or email is sent, they respond quickly.
I was seen for my annual follow-up after my breast cancer surgery in 2017. I was seen by the Nurse Practitioner. My mammogram results were reviewed and I still have a normal post surgery which is always reassuring to hear. I was very satisfied with this visit.
Excellent team at Dr. Akbari's office. Dr. Akbari took the time to explain the diagnosis and the options. The team came through to offer their help in the next step.
Dr. Akbari is an exceptional physician. I would recommend her to anyone who needs her services. Her staff is also very kind and helpful.
Dr. Akbari is the surgeon you want if you want the most aggressive care possible. She is a professional who knows what she is doing and your treatment will be done her way - but only her way. If you have personal concerns or don't want the absolute most aggressive plan, you will be better served by another physician who is willing to focus on tailoring treatments to the individual patient. Dr Akbari, was thorough, and explained everything I needed to know, regarding my breast issues with care, concern and thorough follow up.
I highly recommend Dr. Akbari for any breast issue. When I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, she thoroughly put my husband and me at ease with her explanation of my case, drawings and all and gave me the plan as I left. My follow-up care has been excellent also. She has been my one constant through the process. I am very glad I choose her for my breast surgeon.

Really appreciated Dr Akbari's expertise and reassurance! My radiologist recommended surgical consultation post-biopsy, and Dr Akbari was excellent in explaining the clinical rationale behind the recommendation, the options available going forward, and the considerations that could favor one option over the other. My office visit was relatively brief, but my gut feeling was that she is a very good doctor and I would definitely go back to her should the need arise. Highly recommend.
