Dr. Akbari and her staff is friendly, knowledgeable and show compassion. They listened to my concerns and thoroughly explained the plan of care. Furthermore, when a message or email is sent, they respond quickly.
I was seen for my annual follow-up after my breast cancer surgery in 2017. I was seen by the Nurse Practitioner. My mammogram results were reviewed and I still have a normal post surgery which is always reassuring to hear. I was very satisfied with this visit.

Dr. Akbari is the surgeon you want if you want the most aggressive care possible. She is a professional who knows what she is doing and your treatment will be done her way - but only her way. If you have personal concerns or don't want the absolute most aggressive plan, you will be better served by another physician who is willing to focus on tailoring treatments to the individual patient.
