We have had several different vets from Steinbeck caring for our horses and most recently, Dr Carlson has been caring for one horse who spent a week at the clinic and has multiple follow up visits at home. The care has been fanatstic and I have felt they have worked with me to give Bug the best care within my budget. Our mare had presented with severe colic symptoms in early January. Our vet was not able to make it to our place, so we took starlight to Steinbeck Equine clinic to have her examined. They ultra sounded her, everything appeared good. We left her overnight to follow up, she exhibited colic symptom and they X-rayed her and found a stone. My white horse developed the small tumorous clusters associated with the white horse gene. I called Steinbeck and they got it taken care of immediately, professionally and efficiently. I am accustomed to giant vet services that try to "fit me in". Steinbeck was not like that at all. I could not recommend them more highly.
