Sales guy double checked that the home had everything required for the furnace/heat pump install and went back up the ladder just to triple check wiring. On day of install, the installers quickly noticed that there weren't enough wires for the thermostat stating they needed to cut a hole in the wall to pull wire then would patch it up. Steel T installed our furnaces and air conditioners when we built our home. Since, they have performed annual maintenance and have done a great job. I normally don't write reviews but I wanted to make a point to give them kudos after seeing the other negative reviews about price. You get what you pay for! If you want good service and a professional technician and office staff call these guys.

I had work done by Steel-T in March, 2022, and have used them in the past. Our furnace was not working. The technician seemed to repair the issue. He tested the furnace, and cleaned the flame rollout sensor. $287.00!!! Three weeks later the furnace stopped working. I called to make an appointment and was greeted with, "There will be a service call fee of $105.00, and if you want it to be an emergency, there will be an additional fee, and we can't come out to look at the furnace for a week because we are very busy, and you ar... read more

I called to have thermostat fixed or replaced. Was given a $69 service charge and $149 minimum labor, but wouldn’t give parts amount. Once in the door the tech said it was a package price of $288 to replace the thermostat PLUS the $69 trip charge for a total of $357! The tech was in the house 40 minutes and the part costs about $75. Pricing was very misleading. Final amount is a scam.

Steel T Heating Inc – I cannot reccommend Steel T Heating enough! The technicians that come are courteous, prompt, clean and know their business. I recently purchased a new furnace from them as I have not had a new one in over 25 yrs. There was no pressure or sales push. Just the facts and left up to me. The owner is hands on, comes to the site, visits with you, checks things gives you his best idea what will be most efficient in your case. Great HVAC contractor – I have worked with Steel-T for about 8 years. They have done both new and remodel work residential work for me. They are adept at both design build and following an independent engineer's design. They have always been trustworthy, honest and punctual. Because of our success with them in the past we are now going to use them for commercial work too. I strongly recommend them.
