Great atmosphere, brings you back In time with an old train depot setting. If you are lucky a train will go by. Good food and wonderful staff.
Went for the Thanksgiving buffet and what a disappointment for an almost a 200.00 bill!!! Could not even eat the sirloin, Turkey was overcooked and dry, food was luke warm with no flavor. Would not recommend for the buffet, however the regular menu is fantastic!!!

I have eaten at this restaurant half a dozen times but in this incident I will not be eating there for a while due to the fact that my grandkid ordered a hotdog with a bun that had mold on the bun. The way management handled it was they showed me the package dated November 20 even though that day I ordered it was November 23, 2019. I would consider that Out of Code. Everything. REALLY. Beautiful building that could double as a museum. Wonderful food at a great price. Something for virtually everyone. The staff is well informed, friendly, and helpful. An excellent venue for an intimate dinner with a special person, a family gathering, or a business event. Steaming Tender owners enhance the fun by adding"special events" to enjoy with friends. I have never had anything less than a fabulous time at this restaurant! I recommend the whiskey bread pudding, lobster mac/cheese!!! 💖
The menu provides a good variety without being too expansive. The sandwiches are good and portions are fantastic. The music is not overpowering, and it’s usually 50’s or railroading, or seasonal music. The prices are reasonable. Our server, Lane, was fantastic — responsive, friendly and never went a long time without visiting our table. She was constantly smiling and she (and the other wait staff) seemed happy to be there. Very unique restaurant, the decor is fantastic and there's plenty of seating everywhere. My lunch is special was steak tips with rice which was delicious delicious served with winter squash. Very interesting place to eat
A must do again restaurant !!! Next visit will be for the brunch served in an old dining train car from years gone by..
