Personable Mike H was absolutely wonderful! He went out of his way to make this a wonderful experience and he was just the right about of friendly with us. Personable, yet not too friendly.
The Best Steak After eating at Steamboat House 3 times, I can state confidently that it is one of the best places to eat in northern Houston!! On top of that, I ate the BEST steak I've ever eaten there!! The staff is very knowledgeable and very accommodating. On my last visit I was lucky to meet the owner and get a brief history of not only the Steak House but Texas as well!! It was a great experience!!
Friendly Owner Visits wait staff is very experienced and professional. Water glasses were constantly kept filled as were all drinks. Food was delicious and presented nicely. Steaks were exactly as ordered and tasted wonderful. I even said to my husband that the steaks were so good, wanted to suck the flavor out of the fat!!! The best part was a friendly visit from the owner and a free history lesson
Attentive Staff My wife and I went for lunch. I had been previously on many occasions, but this was the first time my wife had been. The server was very attentive, but not overly burdensome. The other staff was also very attentive. The establishment was well staffed and extremely clean. I will go back for sure.
Proud of their Food I love the food and especially the deco of Texas. Born and raised here, It makes me proud to take someone there (to the restaurant) and live in the pure history!
I will be back Again My first trip. When I walked through the halls I could read history all around every room. The waiter wad knowledgable on the food, specials, and building. I order prime rib, when the plate was sat in front of me I was so glad that was my choice. It was tender, juicy, beautiful! I WILL BE BACK AGAIN
Best Food! The Steamboat House is something different and well worth checking out. Friendly staff will welcome and serve you from the beginning to the end of your dining experience. Though renowned for it's steaks, it's seafood is always right up there too. The history of the place comes at you from every angle and along with the dishes,is,engagingly presented. Be sure to visit us soon !
Exceptional I already wrote about Steamboat on Trip Advisor about our late Valentine's lunch. I wrote everything is exceptional (PattiChap), and each visit we have is always exceptional! It was just published on Trp Advisor today (my visit was 2/14/2016 @ 4:00pm.
Great Waiter We went to heat for my moms birthday dinner. Great atmosphere and food. Our waiter was excellent and personable. I love history so it was a really cool restaurant
