Steam Express is a ripoff. In fact in my opinion they are nothing more than a scam. After paying over $6000.00 for Steam Express to clean our HVAC system and remove the mold they slowed us in pictures, we had to pay real HVAC professionals additional money to confirm our suspicion about Steam Express. This company is a complete scam. The man they sent out said his name was David. (He was a Mid-Easterner.) He rolled some medium size machine with a hose on it towards my attic opening.. He left 2 guys in my house and left the premises, stating that he would be back. The other two took off all the vent covers and cleaned them. I believe that is all that was actually done. I had steam express out to clean the 11 air ducts of a 1500 sq ft home coupon offer was $99.00 “Well” they looked at the a/c unit and said it had black mold on the coil. After treating for mold the price went to $3.000.00 after 2 months my wife&I have had respiratory problems since then. I haven’t reported it yet!
Make that a -1. DO NOT USE STEAM EXPRESS- IT'S A SCAM- VALPAC SHOULDN'T CARRY THEIR ADVERTISING. Called about their Air duct cleaning I have a THome total 1400sq ft. Less than 10 ducts for their price of $77. It's a lie! They do not clean ducts from down to up! They want do mess with your AC UNIT!! I stopped them right there!
