Get a better management team.
I would never reccomend anyone to live in these apartments . They try to rip people off with bogus charges. This is the worst experience that I have ever had.
Can’t explain because it’s a lot of things to complain and even you complain to them there are nothing help. Just wish I found new place better and move out

RecommendedWe just moved my daughter in last week. Could NOT have gone any smoother. The place was clean, move in process was smooth. So far, we are SUPER HAPPY!!! And I love that it's soooooo close to school.
The Block on Rio has outrageous electric bills. My son stayed in a three bedroom apt by himself. The other two rooms were closed and locked. He lived alone and was home 50% of the time. His average electric/water bill was $75 a month. Our final bill was $250. This was not divided between roommates! It was for one person. No one from American Campus ever came to change the air filter (we were told you are not allowed to fix things on your own. Resident must submit a request). When my daughter moved in Newtown last fall her apartment wasn’t clean and the counter top in the kitchen was damaged. She’d signed the lease so we cleaned the carpets, wiped down walls and made the place presentable. Overall the year she lived there was fine. Moved her a week ago today to her new place. Today she realized she was missing a pair of Hunter boots, a winter jacket, a winter coat, a Columbia jacket and rain jacket that she kept in the coat closet.
