Clients beware; we were contacted by this company in October 2019 regarding a medical bill, we were told that we could pay the client directly up to 30 days in which we did the same day we made contact with this company. We just recently received a series of phone calls in April 2020 requesting payment for the same bill and amount. I’ll tell you what if I was somebody looking for someone to collect past due accounts this would be unacceptable we haven’t heard from them since October 2019 since we made the payment and the acc... read more
They reported 6 times to the credit bureau for the same Aurora facility. They broke up the bills in small increments making it appear that I have numerous derogatory remarks rather than one in the full amount. When I say they separated them small amounts I mean $27.00 ones. I had a credit score in the middle 700's this ruined my score and originally dropped it into the high 500's. Can they do this? I am devastated, I have never seen this before. Even if I pay the small bills they will still be on there for 7yrs.
State Collections Service contacted me via mail with a “second notice” for collections from five separate outpatient visits for myself totally $60.50 from 2018. I called State Collections Services and spoke with Tom ********, who informed me that I actually had a new total balance due of $553.70. He did not know what the new balance included because he told me Advocate Medical only sent him the date of service and amount. When I asked why this was a second notice, he informed me I had been sent a note back in July, 2019, whi... read more
I was very suspicious about this company when they sent me a letter saying that I owed $160 to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. I was suspicious because I always pay my bills and I did not recognize the hundred and $160 fee. So I sent a letter as they requested to refute the claim. They instantly sent off a form letter that read they reviewed my information provided and investigation determined that the account was previously closed. I don't think they had enough time to review anything the with how fast this letter arrived... read more
Hospital error resulted in an erroneous bill sent to this entity. Baylor college of medicine could not explain the charges to this entity, my insurance company or me. I FAXED all documents to this establishment and all have been professional seeking its resolution and combined audit of Baylor's financial system with regards to this incident.
I have had trouble getting the reporting removed from my credit score. I have called multiple times and I had paid the debt in full over 2yrs ago. They have removed all but one even though I have complained that it is still on my credit report. They said that the request was already made to get it removed, however I have paid off 2 charges from them since then and they have already been removed, yet the older one from 2017 remains present. I would love to say that my experience has been effortless, however this seems to be a... read more
An employee of State Collection Service, Inc. identifying themselves as "Lisa ***", called today using a local WA State phone number to collect payments (in my case - in error) today. Unfortunately, Lisa ***decided to copy and use a recording from the local Public School District as her Caller ID/announcement to entice local customers supposedly owing money to pick up their phone. While it was an ingenious idea on the first day of school in the district (to make parents think their child was in trouble or sick on the first d... read more
They called me at 9pm on a weekday night, I was trying to get my kids to bed. The guy was rude, very rude. He said that they called several times, I informed him that they should leave a message and that I have called/emailed in the past in never got a response. He asked when I had "free time" so they could call back. There is no such thing as "free time" in my world. And there's double charges showing on my credit report from them that I have asked for proof of and never have gotten. What a bunch of b.s. this place is.
I am disabled by auto immune disease I asked for a validation notice he said they could not provide one. They charged my account 474.60. I am disputing this whole charge because it's fraud collections when they can't provide a statement of billing!!! They completely ignore the Affordable Care Act.
