Im going to say its just... OK... however if i broke my review out by the park itself versus the Lodge and Restaurant then i can be more specific... love visiting the park and visitor center. The quality of the programs they offer year round are amazing and earn a 5 from me! Unfortunately the Lodge and hotel rooms are MAYBE a 1;to require two night min AND charge that much is a crime given the 25 year old beds and decor! Food was fair, wait staff confused and uneducated about the menu selections, but friendly; and overall drinks and dinner a bit overpriced for central Illinois.
Great place to visit. Go if you get the chance. Highly recommended.
Fantastic. We went there for our wedding, and Tiffany went above and beyond to help us plan. The day went perfectly, and she was always there, just behind the scenes, to help us out. One of my friends had a food allergy that we were unaware of, and they took her meal back, and remade it without the almonds. absolutely a great time.
