I have been a performer at Starved Rock for the last couple of years. The way the management treats its entertainers is excellent. I love coming to sing here as part of the Tenors 3!
We went there for a wedding, food was great, this was the first time that we have been there. The staff was friendly, well dressed and the ceremony was very nice. Would go back in a heartbeat
Had a relaxing weekend hiking, dinning and resting at Starved Rock Lodge. Miles of trails with scenic views around every corner. Delicious "date night" dinner was more than I could eat and the roaring fire in the fireplace added to the coziness. The quaint room was clean, warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing to get away from the hustle and bustle.
1st time there was for Rockstar singing event not sure I would go back
The accommodations were perfect for a weekend getaway. It was everything I expected from a hotel - except complimentary breakfast.
Our family of 8 stayed at Starved Rock this past weekend. Over all we were disappointed. Some of us stayed in Sunset cabin, some in lodge, and some of us in a pioneer cabin. Definitely would not do the pioneer cabin again-\-\wood floors were very dirty, gas fireplace didn't work, and ants in bathrooms. Bay lodge room was fine but lodge room with 2 double beds was extremely small with little room to walk in front of beds. The Sunset cabin was the best of all our room types we stayed in.
