Consistently the best! – Starr was recommended to me over 20 years ago and Bobby has been cutting my hair ever since, except for the times he is hot in and I am a desperate bad hair case. All of my cuts and color have been excellent and I am always getting compliments on the the cut (I don't admit to the color and it is so natural). No attitude just great service, enjoyable atmosphere and clean bright surroundings. I highly recommend everyone at Starr!

Great hair salon – I've been going to this salon for a long time and have sent many friends. They just remodeled -- it looks great. More importantly, I get a consistently great hair cut.

Talented stylists – Starr has really talented and friendly stylists. If you are looking for a fresh stye or color, this is the place. It is comfortable, affordable and service is quick so your parking meter won't run out.

Best Hair Salon in Boston – Starr Hair Studio delivers high quality, professional salon services with warmth and sincerity. Great Hair for a Great Price – The staff at Starr are always welcoming and the atmosphere is pleasant. Stephen L. is a great colorist and stylist! He's been doing my hair for quite awhile and I'm always satisfied. I never get tired of his cuts. I am always asked by friends and strangers where I get my hair done and that what keeps me coming back.

Best hair service and value on Newbury Street! – Best value for hair services on Newbury Street! The cost of services can be almost half whatever the 'celebrity-name' places charge, and Starr does as good a job if not better. I've been going there for 6 years and the place just keeps getting better. My stylist, Diane, and the rest of the staff could not be more accomodating. From the beginning I was treated with care. Great personalized service – Starr hair salon has a great upstairs location on Newbury st. They are always accomodating and make you feel completely at home. The owners are so friendly and I love my stylist of over 20 years, Stephen Lombardi. I always leave with a perfect cut that is very easy to care for at home. The salon just underwent a face lift and looks fabulous. You won't be disappointed!
