I come to this location probably 4-5 times a week to get my daughter and drinks. She loves the Pink Drink and I love the White Chocolate Frappuccino. I always go through the drive thru and I’ve been coming there so much almost 95% of the employees on the drive thru taking orders know me now. I visited the Starbucks in Trussville today when the heat index was 103 degrees, and asked for a free cup of water. The manager, Kellie, initially told me they don’t give out water without a drink purchase. After I pushed back, she said she’d give it to me “today” — implying it was a one-time exception rather than standard practice. I was surprised, since Starbucks is well known for providing water on request regardless of purchase, and even offers free treats for customers’ dogs.
