Cashier Christine truly made my day. I stopped at this location on my way to work, not realizing it was on a college campus. I tried to pay with my Starbucks app since my work card is connected to it, but the scanner wasn’t able to process it. Christine and I joked about how my company usually pays for my coffee, not me, since I was reluctant to pull out my personal Visa. The woman at the register seemed extremely passionate about her job, especially the part where she doesn’t have to acknowledge customers. A friendly “Hi, how are you?” was apparently a very difficult question for her, because it was met with complete silence and a look that suggested my existence was a major inconvenience. This morning I walked into Starbucks and there were 3 women on shift. The lady at the cash register was very unpleasant. She seemed annoyed that a customer had walked in. I greeted her saying “Goodmorning “ her response was “how can I help you”..when I said thank you after she took my order I received no response back.
