Dont come to 105 year old establishment and expect anything but century old recipes and customs, if its too loud,too rich, or not enough room stay home... If you want great food,great service,and spend your night with happy friendly guests, then this is your best money spent... I have eaten there half a dozen times and never seen a unhappy face walk out the door!!!
It was our first visit to Elko and everyone was talking about this restaurant, well I'll tell you we were not disappointed. ..what a dining experience, the food, the ambiance the company and the service was excellent. Will definitely go back on our next trip to Nevada.
Unfortunately, they do not offer even one vegan/gluten free option. This used to be my favorite restaurant in the whole world and now I can never eat here again. I am so sad.
Had an amazing experience at the Star - had drinks at the bar before dinner, bartenders were friendly and took good care of us. The meal was incredible!! I will definitely be back my next visit to Elko.
