Dr. Sheppard was my dentist when I was growing up. I am still terrified of this man. He was so mean...not only to me, but to other patients. When a child would begin to cry, he would tell them to shut up. I swear I have PTSD from this man.
Dr. Sheppard & his staff have been amazing with my daughter, Ireland. She has always been very anxious about the dentist. However, Dr. Sheppard and his staff made her feel safe and comfortable. They took their time to talk to her and explain to her what was happening. I was probably more nervous than Ireland, and Dr. Sheppard and his staff were so kind and patient in calming my fears too. Best children's dentist ever!!!! Every visit a great experience.
Very kind and had lots of patience with my terrified 4yr old. Dr.shep was my dentist too as a child! That's why we chose him!
This dentist is the reason I have difficulty trusting dentists: My little boy was the victim of an attempted "super-sizing" by #DrStanleySheppard. We went in for an emergency. He was having pain from a space maintainer that needed removing. His tooth was erupting, so it was time. However, I got called to the back because he was overdue (yes, he pulled the bad mother card) for a cleaning and would like to do that as well as remove the space maintainer. Mind you, one of those procedures was free and the other would be $200. As... read more
Dr. Sheppard knows dentistry like the back of his hand. However, he's a grumpy old man with horrible bedside manners. The front office staff is friendly, I don't think I will return or recommend.
