I am writing to express serious concerns regarding my daughter’s recent GI procedure at your facility earlier this week. She reported that she woke up from anesthesia alone in an empty room with no one present. This is concerning, as patients recovering from anesthesia are vulnerable. When I made the appointment, the representative told me there is no way to know the estimate of the charge for the 15min appointment. The visit is totally conversational and no actual useful therapy or treatment were conducted. After the visit, it was charged for a code for more than 45min! The conversation with the billing department is also useless, they don't take my questions and concerns seriously and directly refuse to make any adjustment without detailed reasons. I arrived for my endoscopy check-in at 6:10am, which is within the time they open. When I said ‘good morning,’ the front desk staff member responded that she ‘wasn’t ready’ in a very rude and dismissive tone. I understand mornings can be busy, but being spoken to like that especially before a medical procedure was unprofessional and unnecessary. Patients deserve courtesy and clear communication, not attitude. I hope the office can address this so others don’t have the same experience.
