Although they may have the most respected surgeons, they are not interested in patient input or requests or experience. I had my right knee replaced 7 years ago, not at Stanford. Post operation, the surgeon told me to empower myself as a patient. If things didn't feel right speak up because it's my body. Class act. The way you should always be treated when seeking medical care. Been to UCSF, John Muir, San Ramon, etc... they don't even come close to the level of care, professionalism and level of compassion that Stanford provides.
