I've been seen at several clinics within the Stanford Hospital system and the worst by far has been the pain management clinic. In my opinion it seems that they treat extreme chronic pain with conversation. They do their best to avoid prescribing any type of effective pain relievers and take their time pursuing other options. Setting of appointments and follow-up visits or so greatly spaced, I feel like a new patient every time I return.
