Lack of communication between departments is affecting patient care in a very negative way. I’m very disappointed in what I experienced at Stanford today while taking my Grandma to her chemo appointment today. Stanford can carry the “big” name but if they want to see patient satisfaction ratings go up then they need to have more trainings on compassion, empathy, and communication.
