Very disappointed and frustrated with Stanford Healthcare in Tri-Valley. Their whole system seems designed to create difficulties for patients and push them away. To see a specialist (e.g., cardiology, dermatology) or get a test (e.g., MRI), it takes 6+ months from the lengthy referral and review process to actually getting an appointment. All patients experience is indifference, cold rejection and carelessness. In shocking contrast, an independent imaging clinic in the region can do the same MRI in just 1-2 weeks.

Went to the ER at 3am with severe abdominal pain. When they triaged me, my blood pressure was 184/102. They sent me back to the waiting room where NO ONE else was waiting to be seen. After about an hour, I was called back for them to do an EKG. After that was done, I was sent back to the waiting room where I continued to wait for an ADDITIONAL 2 hours. Misty Jones, CEO ought to be real proud of herself for running a circus of a hospital. Horrific experience for my father on 3 WEST. No physician called me despite my requests! Poor communication. Poor care! My dad waited 45 minutes for a breathing treatment. I was told my father would be transferred to Stanford Palo Alto by ground ambulance transport.
