I am writing to express my profound appreciation for Stanford Hospital, an institution my family has relied on since 2012. We have consistently received outstanding care, and I particularly value the positive experiences associated with the births of my four children at your facility. However, I feel compelled to bring to your attention a significant concern regarding the patient experience within the Emergency Room/Urgent Care Department. On multiple occasions, I have observed what appears to be preferential treatment given... read more
I went in for a major surgery which was supposed to be only 5 days. There was complications so I ended up being there 24 days I was in the ICU for 2 days. My surgeon was good he made sure I did end up going home so I’m grateful. There were a few people who stuck out during my stay one was Allison on the 3 floor she made sure that I received the quick response to an emergency situation for that I’m forever grateful. A crisis nurse Josh was so amazing I can’t even explain. He was just so compassionate. A nurse Kaitlyn on the 2... read more
The doctor, Dr. Anne Elizabeth Goldring, was excellent and extremely competent and I was completely comfortable during the procedure. All the staff were exceptional. Our primary care doctors and the Orthopedic Clinics are the best. I can easily understand why Stanford is one the top rated Hospitals in the country.
I came in bleeding, really bad 1 day, and they literally brushed it off and told me to leave, I walked out of there still bleeding. Went to a different hospital and had to have emergency surgery. Do not go to Stanford healthcare anywhere in Alameda County, they are the worst. And this isn't the first time, it is every time we go there .It 's too busy and they do not care, not to mention, they have a bunch of training doctors following them around, and they don't know what they 're doing. They've mixed up our blood tests befo... read more
I had an emergency appendectomy at Stanford and I couldn't have asked for better care. Every doctor, nurse and staff member was kind, professional and compassionate. They always treated me with respect, explained everything clearly and made me feel safe during a very stressful time. Everything was well organized and on time, from my surgery to my follow-up appointment. I was especially touched during my follow-up visit. I accidentally went to the wrong building and a gentleman in a red uniform kindly walked me all the way to... read more
