Had a really unprofessional experience with the team at Stanford Court Hotel. I stayed here 2 weeks ago and during our check in, we were told that the system was down already. Nevertheless, they charged for a security deposit on my credit card which is now posted and on my statement. Our stay was only for a weekend but it has been two weeks now and the security deposit was never removed/refunded from my credit card. Upon arrival the front desk was in a form of chaos as it appears the systems were down just earlier in the day. It took a little longer to get checked in. I received my key to the fifth floor and walked into SOMEONE ELSES OCCUPIED ROOM and interrupted a couple who was staying in there. I have never experienced this while staying at a hotel, let along a “luxery hotel”. It was incredibly uncomfortable as a solo female traveler.
