I love the staff and of course my baby's doctor, Dr, Cooley. Everyone is very smart, professional, and caring towards you and your fur baby. My dog and I are very grateful for the care. Dr. Cooley, Brianna, Shaina, Kayla (I probably misspelled some names), but I would like to recognize them and thank them for their care and patience and professionalism, even with me being a helicopter mother to my baby Beulah! When Jersey started feeling ill last week I was a bit worried. When took her in the clinic and was informed she would need surgery I was terrified. Dr. Houston took time to explain the procedure and made personal follow up calls to make sure Jersey was doing well post surgery. I know everyone's dog is special to them, and you guys probably hear it all the time, but thank you for taking care of her!
Dr. Cooley and her staff have done an amazing job caring for one of my sweet cats over the past few weeks. I brought my cat to Standifer's for limping and it turns out he is actually diabetic. Although this was overwhelming news at first, Dr. Cooley and staff have helped me tremendously; walking me through insulin options, prescription diet food, and showing me how to give my cat his medication. Dr. Cooley is wonderful! She takes great care of our dogs! The rest of the staff is extremely nice and courteous. I highly recommend Standifer Animal Clinic:)
Very disappointed in Dr. Houston. My dog has had a mass on her hip for almost a year. My dog also has a heart condition and surgery isn’t the best option. Dr. Houston never told or suggested to me that she could just do a needle sample of the mass. We moved to Nashville and I went to the vet today and she was totally blown away that procedure was never suggested to me. So my dog is probably covered in cancer and I’m so upset!!!
I just moved back to Alabama and one of my neighbors recommended Tiffany at Standifer’s to groom my standard poodle. Well we just got back and he looks AMAZING! I’m really looking forward to building a relationship with her and the staff at their clinic and grooming center. They are currently curbside due to the current pandemic and I appreciate the speed, courtesy and care that was shown for our first visit. Will be back again to keep my boy looking fresh and handsome!
We just moved from New Orleans and my senior fur baby has been through it all. Food allergies, insulinoma, pancreatic surgery, chemo, tons of steroids etc. I went somewhere close to our home and it was mediocre care at best and I was in the room with her. When I pulled up to your clinic and saw the windows painted with “the hands that take care of your fur baby” art, I knew we were in the right spot.
