RecommendedI have been dealing with Standard Transmission and Gear since 1995 and have watched them grow through the years but the over all experience has never faltered. Mike is a down to earth man that takes care of his customers and employees as if they're family. I've always felt welcome there and Mike will always stop what he is doing to personally assist you. I have the upmost respect for how he operates his business and its getting harder and harder to say that these days.
I just got my NV5600 back from these guys with a new South Bend Clutch. The old clutch was in pretty bad shape and we had a few extra needs once they got into it. The clutch fork, input seal, and hydraulics all ended up needing replacing as well as a few other things. The price obviously went up some with the extra parts, but they worked with me and even kept the labor the same as originally quoted. I purchased a nv 4500 transmission from them and we had a few hiccups with part failures on my transmission but Melissa in customer service took care of Everything and they warrantied the trans mission and I even spoke with Fabian the shop foreman he's extremely knowledgeable and professional I'd recommend standard to anyone and I'm all the way in Indiana!
