I saw Dr. Stakers office on Cary Parkway. I have been a patient of Dr. Stevens for years, however, have had continual problems with my back. After 8 weeks, I may be some better, but nothing any better than with the PT I had been receiving. FYI: Dr. Stevens said that Staker Chiropractor has nothing to do with the Hurricanes Hockey Team anymore.
I went to Dr. Staker on a friend's recommendation after I'd endured 8 months of sciatic and lower back pain. Dr. Staker examined me, took one reasonably-priced x-ray, and got started with a treatment plan. I scheduled my appointments as he recommended and did the exercises he gave me to do at home. Todd tried some active release on me. Which essentially was finding spots that hurt and pushing on them. Arrrgh! Ironically this helped for a while. I went to physical therapy and had better results. Did improve.... but no lasting help.
I was very nervous and in alot of pain during my first visit to Staker Chiropractic. Just seconds after meeting Dr. Staker I could tell I was in the right place. Dr. Staker was able to diagnose the source of my pain and explain the course of treatment. Much of the intense pain and horrible side effects from my condition were relieved after the first 2 visits. I am so thankful to have the most brilliant and caring chiropractor in this state. I would rate Staker Chiropractic 100 stars not 5.
I had a great experience at Staker Chiropractic. I am a former athlete with alot of old injuries. They explained my condition, xrays, and diagnosis fully. They took the time and cared. I have tried many other chiroractors and this has been my best experience. I would recomment to anyone. They charge less than some of the other doctors and the same as some. The previous review was misleading, I think. Try them.
Friendly staff. Big promises..Big Bill ..little results. Save your money and go somewhere else.
