Emily Rzepka was outstanding. She was very attentive, had an excellent bedside manner, and made me feel like she was genuinely concerned about my well-being. She took the time to listen, answered my questions, and treated me with kindness and respect throughout my visit.
I went in due to my issues, got treated in the waiting room in front of everyone, then got into a room for 5 minutes before they told me to leave. Before I left one of the nurses Kendra was taking my IV out. She ripped it out with the tape like a damn bandaid and my arm is still hurting and sore 3 weeks later.
My son was seen for a bike accident this past Friday. First it took them 5 hours to clean the wounds. Then they told me to do wound care and they would call over antibiotics. They didnt call the antibiotics over and when I called the ed department they told me to clean the area clean and dry, then I got a call the next day from the pharmacy about the antibiotics they finally called in. They told me they sent a urgent referral over to shriners, only to find out from shriners, that st Vincent didn't send the referral over. I h... read more
Waited ~4 hours for a bed. Got there at 230pm. Was told I was being admitted around a quarter to 6, and didn't get the bed until 10:30pm. Because I was in for having serious back pain and shooting pain down my legs, the pressure of sitting made it so much worse, I could barley walk. Then the next day before discharge I was told I could rest before leaving and i asked a few questions the nurse didn't have the answers for and told a Dr would come see me and then 30 minutes later without answers to my questions they came to tak... read more
