The experience was horrible! Ever since UAB took over the ER is just as bad as the UAB ER. I use to go to St. Vincent's, before they became UAB, because they were caring and quick but now the people are passive, they don't do what they say,and they left me in the waiting room for over 4 hours so I left. Im never coming here again.
My 86 year old mother arrive by ambulance with blood pressure 210/115. We waited over THREE hours in the waiting room, not a ER room. The staff showed very little concern. When I asked questions, they basically rolled their eyes. It was an absolute waste of time and money. We left the ER AMA (against medical advice) after close to 5 hours of not being seen. Do not even take your pets there!
If you are truly are in an emergency this is not the place to go my girlfriend is pregnant and was literally in tears hurting and she had to sit there for 3 hours just to still not get seen.
