My parents move there March 2016 and lived there until my dad died Dec 2016. My mom is still living there. The care they received was awesome. All employees were Christ- like and showed great sensitivity to the care of Mom and Dad.
My mother was in St. Paul for almost 2 weeks. It went pretty well except for a fairly major shortcoming. The portable oxygen units liked to either run out or stop working and too often without staff nearby. Otherwise though they did an excellent job with her in the rehabilitation process. The food was good and was in accordinance with her low sodium diet. The therepy dog is a VERY nice touch. Mom loved Bella very much. I would recommend this facility but make sure to keep a close watch if you are on oxygen.

Often a nursing home is thought of as a lonely sterile place. St Paul is full of music (church music, piano playing), community (volunteers, employees, children, families), and life (birds, dogs, families). The staff are caring and committed to those in their care.
My mother has been there for almost 6 years. Although we have had some ups and downs and adjustments, I think they provide a loving atmosphere and many activities. Attending daily mass is very important to her. The recent remodeling is beautiful and gives it a homey feel. Although it will never replace her own home, in her situation, it is the next best thing.
