RecommendedVery good care overall, but avoid the weight loss center. The female staff at the weight loss center is very mean, hateful and rude to the patients.
Have been there 8 or9 times to have a renal stent changed.. there was no where I could have been treated better. All the staff in every department were so friendly and nice. And.. the ones with you are as cared for as you are.....!
Bad experience my husband when with pneumonia we had to go to other hospital because he was in the waiting and didn’t care he had the IV that was wrong what they did i just can’t believe
I took my son here on Saturday for a laceration to his nailbed ... st. Mary’s didn’t treat it, didn’t give him any iv antibiotics, and left the wound open after lying to me about it. The finger was not only lacerated but fractured- so they left an open fracture open. Took him to cabell and they treated it properly because the doctors at St. Mary’s failed to do their job correctly. And for the “non lacerated” nail bed- it was in fact lacerated and needed 3 stitches on top of the nail needing to be removed. Way to go St. Mary’... read more
SMMC is always my hospital of choice.
I still recommend it because they did save my husband's life three times but it used to feel like a loving home. Since it got involved with Cabell, the whole atmosphere has changed into business before people. Makes me want to cry. We lost something special.
My aunt has Dementia and she has been sitting here for 5 and a half hours and tons of people have came in after her but went back before her in the er. I wouldn’t bring my dog here
