My husband was treated for heart arrhythmia at the ER recently. The staff were thorough, professional, & knowledgeable, all while managing to be comforting & upbeat. The facility is designed for maximum privacy for the patient & their family members. If an ER visit can ever be pleasant, this visit came as close as any possibly could. B. Kett
Had to select one star as there wasn't an opportunity to select "no stars." They don't understand the meaning of the word "communication." ER doesn't speak with those on the medical floors. Doctors don't speak with nurses. Very few employees read records in the computer. (You apparently have to "scroll" through the data and that takes too much time.) My wife was treated terrible by one of the ER docs on more than one occasion this dr does not belong practicing. She violated HIPPA by calling people without my wife's knowledge or approval to give out medical info. When those numbers are meant for emergency purposes only. She called my wife slow and insulted her intelligence my wife is a brilliant woman with multiple degrees. Dr. L.C. Went in with two service dogs, legitamite as can be. Went to visit my friend, no issues. As soon as I left however they brought her their pet policy and she got told pets weren't allowed! My Seevice dogs are not pets they are my legitamite lifesavers on a daily basis. St Mary's should be reported to the ADA!! Hate his hospital!
My parents have doctors there. They get great care have been going there for years. I find the doctors great and willin to work with the family and any huestions you have even when you are 3 hours away. nancy
My mother received a knee replacement. Her first night they did not control her pain so she experienced panic attacks and they did nothing to help with either matter. I have been on the phone with supervisors every day to make sure that she is receiving the medication she is prescribed. Even though her record state the dosage, the nurses took it upon themselves to not give her what was prescribed. I have had to miss work to be sure that my mom is being properly cared for.
