I was scheduled for cataract surgery on 3/21/22. Prior to my arrival, I was NOT told that a driver that I knew would have to drive me home. The reason for this was that the level of anesthesia used would render me, not safe to drive. After the fact, I had to admit that I should have thought to ask prior to my date of surgery but I didn't. No, this doesn't alter the fact that I wasn't properly informed about this requirement prior to the surgery date by the medical staff at St. Luke's. The person who normally helps me with ... read more

I am very disappointed. I had cataract surgery over a year ago. Paid $6,600 out of pocket in order to be able to see far and near. I have nothing but problems seeing near. My eyes just keep getting worse. Considering getting glasses again. When I told Dr. Gil the problem he told me to use a magnifying glass. That is not the answer when you pay so much money that you really do not have being on social security. I have gone in for many appointments and he always makes me feel like I’m lying. He said to me one time that I am ... read more

After St Lukes decided to change my appoint day a few times then they decided to change the doctors and offer another time ( more delays ) and appoint days. I have found another Doctor and Eye clinic that is efficient and can schedule appointments with out delays and doctor shuffling. Very disappointed in St Lukes!

Dr. Pit Gills did a fine job with both of my parents. They are seeing much better thanks to their cataract surgery. The pre-operative and aftercare was excellent. Very thorough. Why only 4 stars? Lengthy waits on the phone and at his office.

Much easier than I expected. Yep the wait is long but it's your eyes people. Not an oil change. I do wish they'd fix their phones. Hate to sit on hold in this day and age. Get a call back system please.

These people are as close to being Christians as the devil. These people hide behind god while fooling the seniors that come to them for help. They talk their patients into mono vision for pure profit. The doctor we saw was the most arrogant narcissistic jerk I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. He is disdainful of his patients but tolerates taking there money. The only world acclaim is their lack of compassion for their patients.
