Our baby boy had Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome and we were transported to SLCH from Cape Girardeau. The care we received was amazing and would recommend SLCH to anyone. Thank you to our team of doctors, nurses, and techs who pinpointed the diagnoses and cared for our baby boy.
I would just like to say thank u to all the nurses, doctors and staff on the 10th floor! You all are amazing! My daughter had surgery on her leg Monday and it was really really rough. But u have an amazing staff that helped us through! Shantey we didn't get to say goodbye but Kaylee said u are still besties for life! Lol! Thank u all from the bottom of our hearts. <3
The services and actual doctors are really nice. The problem I have is that one of the receptionists on the third floor for Doctor Williams and Dr. Wade, she is rude and inconsiderate. I have an autistic two-year-old who requires my full attention all the time. I have been forgetting his insurance card the last two times he came in, but it is not like i don't have it. With how much I do during the day, it is easy to forget it. She is just awful and is not understanding at all.

SLCH is amazing! This is the second time my out of state grandchild has needed emergency care and I am so happy to say that everyone has been stellar. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by smiles and warm wishes to serve. The Nurses, their Aids, and the Doctors were excellent at communicating with my daughter and the CHOPs Drs. We live with Sickle Cell and I am able to enjoy my Grandchild in St. Louis because of the care she can receive if needed when she visits. We will spend the weekend and hopefully be ... read more
