I do not recommend St Jude for Emergency services. We traveled for vacation to California in February. Unfortunately, our asthmatic daughter was having difficulty breathing and running a pretty high fever. We decided it was better to play it safe with her being asthmatic. We took her here because it was 1am. Her lungs were clear so they diagnosed her with Influenza A. I was relieved and everyone was very kind. Been sitting on chair #3 for over 2hrs. I’m 90 years old, a heart patient , asthma patient who was sent here by Urgent care to rule out pneumonia. Finally in a bed at 8:30pm. Chair 3 had no call button for nurse, unable to get help to go to restroom, treated in hallway in front other patients not Hippa compliant. Third world type of medicine.

Slow. Hard to reach doctors. Not thorough. Mistakes both re: my mother-in-law and myself. Had to have corrective surgery at UCLA to fix an issue caused by my ObGyn. My father-in-law has been hospitalized since Friday..., and today as of 6:30pm his doctor hadn't seen him today.
Caring about patients and taking the time to answer questions
Recently fell while doing my morning walk. Broke bones in my hand. Taken into the ER immediately. CT scan, X-ray all done quickly. Sent across the street to Orthopedics without an appointment and taken care of right away. St Jude provides the best care!
