My daughter-in-law had a baby there this past weekend and the labor and delivery department was great but the postpartum Department the nurses there are so rude and disrespectful never in my life have I ever seen a patient like that be treated so badly my mother had cancer for seven years and in and out of that place routinely and we never had no problems or been disrespected like we were this weekend I would never in my life ever and I repeat ever recommend that place for delivering a baby oh and my daughter had twins there... read more
I was in labor and delivery. BEWARE! Most the nurses are extremely rude and seemingly there to just collect a paycheck; although I did have 2 amazing nurses- the rest were awful... Unorganized, lack of communication between staff, EVERYTHING you ask for is a struggle/fight from food to baby care to personal care- not once did a nurse just say "sure, let me get that for you." I became so stressed out by the nurses and staff that it brought me to tears- I couldn't breastfeed, I was dizzy...it was awful! I had this same experie... read more
I was scheduled for a in/out surgery@10:00, the pre admiring nurse gave me the wrong information. I had to wait 6 hours after I ate. So I should of being all good to go @ 2:00pm I was still there waiting at 6:00 pm. I up and left the hospital.
Takes forever getting the discharge papers , and I was told it could take up to an hour for x-rays

I received the help I needed but being in public for my vitsl.signs and questions of.heslth information was disturbing. After working there for many years' I was saddened to.see the once mighty St. JOE'S DECLINE. But I did get what was medically necessary etc. Having friends that work tere come.check on me really helped I think
