Recommendedthis hospital in a word..... outstanding!! we were sent to the children's ER and were taken back within minutes of being checked in. All staff as incredibly friendly, great with kids and amazing. My son had never been to the ER and got an IV. His nurse. kristen, popped his IV in after giving him exactly the run down of each step. He did so well and I credit the skills of his nurse as well. If you have a kid emergency.... take them here! Private rooms, kid friendly.... fast and friendly service. thank you!!
It could have been a bad experience, having a child in the hospital. However, St. Joseph’s was a great facility with outstanding medical staff and support staff. I was super impressed by the nurses in the children’s ward we were in!

Dr.Deignan and the entire staff at St. Joseph’s Children’s hospital made everything so easy, very caring and attentive to my child’s needs. Dr.Deignan is absolutely amazing, incredibly qualified and I’d recommend him to anyone... my daughter adores him!
They found what was going on with my child. And because of that my child has a chance in life now. I am so forever grateful for everyone there. And for everyone so friendly even to the parents.
We received wonderful care from the nurses, doctors and everyone involved in my son’s care pre and post surgery. Dr. Botta is so caring and empathetic it was very calming for myself as a mom and my son. The nurses took such great care and were funny and human and just what a nurse should be. I learned from the best my mom was a nurse at St. Joseph’s for many years!!
Es excelente el servicio q se presta ahí estoy muy contenta con la atención q los médicos asistentes, enfermeras y especialistas de X-ray prestaron a mi bebé pero quiero resaltar q las recepcionistas q reciben nuestra información en frente no tienen buenos tratos y hablan como si estuviéramos molestando. Deberían valorar esa área por lo demás todo excelente
while on vacation my son got hurt and we rushed him to the ER the staff was amazing from the time we walked in til the time we left. they treated us with the up most respect and calmed us down because we were thinking the worse. The Dr was amazing as well she caught us off guard when she popped my sons arm back in place but I understand now that telling us after was less traumatic on us and him as well. if we ever find ourself back in Tampa and need to seek ER services we will definitely come back here
