Honestly, some of the staff were not nice at all! When my sister got a new nurse we weren't sure if she was gonna be helpful or not, and one of them called my sister gastric instead of by her name, very very rude and unnecessary!
Pain management after major surgery was very lacking. Would request pain meds and be told it would be a few minutes and 2 hours later I would still be waiting. When you've had major surgery and have a wound drain hanging out of you, that is pretty unacceptable. Other than that everything else was great. My surgeon was amazing!!!
This was the best experience I've had at this hospital in the last 40 years of dealing with them. Everyone I came into contact met me with a smile and they were helpful and attentive. The doctor who monitored my nuclear stress test even read the results before I left so that I wouldn't have to wait to find out later. Excellent experience.
