I am a current patient at Dominican Hospital. I have been here 4 days (admitted Thursday, Sep 10th) and have 3 days remaining before discharge (projected date Sep 17th). I acknowledge that the medical staff is under a great deal of strain due to the pandemic but common bedside manor would be greatly appreciated. During my stay I have had to repeatedly request a shower and my sheets to be changed. RecommendedI went to MedExpress for a covid test 3 days ago after experiencing symptoms. My experience was 100% positive from start to end and all steps occurred exactly as I was told on the phone when I first called for info and when I arrived. I waited 30 to 45 minutes in my car after providing initial information, which was pretty quick considering there were others in cars waiting when I arrived. I am currently 36 weeks pregnant, I have been having contractions and pain lately and with this being my delivering hospital I go to Labor and delivery with my concerns. RN Christopher Dunn who works in the covid unit is on drugs. smokes weed, does shrooms, abuses cough medicine and smokes cigarettes. I wonder how many people dies because of his drug use?
RecommendedDr. Farhat and the PICU nurses/children’s nurses took excellent care of my daughter. The staff is so incredibly friendly and reassuring in your time of need and kept us informed at all times with every detail of their plan. I can’t talk enough about how great Dr. Farhat and the nurses were.
