August 6 we brought our son to your ER. He had unexplained knee pain for a few weeks, drooping and numbness in his face, numbness and edema in his legs and feet. We were told after blood tests, urinalysis and chest X-ray they couldn't find the cause and reassured us he wasn't experiencing anything life threatening, follow up with physician...nothing they could do for us...even though his heart rate was 139 at rest(we weren't told this, found it in records ordered)Two days later he was in full respiratory failure, septic shoc... read more

I took my daughter to what I thought was your Urgent Care off of 130 in Pflugerville. It would have been nice to know that it was NOT the Urgent Care that I thought it was and that it was in fact an Emergency Room. I think you need to start telling the people walking in that it is an Emergency Room and will bill like an ER. It cost me $900 to walk in with my daughter when I was thinking I was going to an Urgent Care. The kicker all they did was listen to her chest. The ER took 1 hour, 30 stabs, and three nurses to get an IV in my mothers arm. The ER does NOT communicate with the hospital staff or vice-versa. Instead of the ER transferring the meds list to the hospital staff, the hospital staff has to call the patient's emergency contact (at 7:00 a.m.) to get the patient's medication list. Was told my mother would be discharged by noon. It's 3:15 pm and still waiting. PISSED OFF.

This is unfortunate. My son was born almost 7 years ago in a St. Davids by UT. We returned for all our family needs because the staff was friendly and kept us informed. I by no means expect in and out service at a hospital, I would like to start off by stating that. This week I had to be rushed to the ST Davids off 620 for breathing problems. I went there for surgery and ended up with 8 infections and one was mrsa. Plus they kept me laying in recovery for about 8 hours because they claim no rooms were available.i was last one in recovery room and hadn't ate all day and finally begged a nurse to get me crackers

I found that the people who work there watch the clock. I had the nurse tell me several times that she got of a 2 and could barely wait to leave. I had been fasting since midnight. Had my procedure done at 1:30 pm and awakened at 5:10pm. I asked for for food and was told no. I did not make it home for i passedout from dehydration and ended up in the emergency room.
