I sat for three hours in their waiting room, for the er. hadnt spoken to a nurse or a doctor within that time period. Fuck this hospital.
Of course being in the Hospital is never fun. However I can only say positive things about the staff in every department at SSM St Joseph St Charles. I had very little contact with most other departments at the hospital. The nursing staff is who I had the most contact with. I couldn't of asked for a better group of professionals. I had a complete hysterectomy with some complications. I stayed in the maternity department. My husband stayed with me. He was also treated with respect. Needs to be cleaned better and the nurses need to be a lot nicer
So many problems!!! Lack of communication between doctors, lack of care, lack of equipment up-keep (no call button and 3 beds later), and the way they talk to you (RUDE). The doctor's words LITERALLY were "You know more than I do"!!!!!!!!
I have utmost confidence in "St. Joseph". A person might not have said that 20-30 years ago, but it is certainly true today.
Very friendly and helpful. All were very courtious.
