Went in to the ER with my wife Monday night. Sat for 3.5 hours and didn’t even get called back. Came at 1230pm on Tuesday have been waiting for 4 hours now and still haven’t seen a dr. They clam they are busy but several nurses are in a room watching TV. This is the biggest joke ever. I would not recommend coming to this ER
Inconsistent experiences, unprofessional ER staff during ER visit. I suffer from documented chronic pain and auto immune conditions. I was treated like a drug addict and it was implied I was faking. After a few bad experiences and 3 years with them I’m forced to find another facility to help me. After some investigation, I’ve found this is a common problem at St. Joseph’s ER. They will except no responsibility and justify there actions with excuses that seem to come from a script.
They’ll lie to you about insurance and pricing and talk you into unnecessary tests/procedures knowing you’ll be on the hook for thousands of dollars when you didn’t need to be.
They could have done SOMETHING! Sent my husband home from ER with NO blood work or UA. WTH?!? Had to call again the next day and finally got a physican with enough sense to take blood and the nurse reluctantly did a catheter to get a UA. He almost died with a UTI. If I hadn't been so upset and unnerved I would have had the EMTs put him in my truck to get him to a real hospital in OKC. RecommendedI go here for pain management. It's up in the second floor and to the north. They got me in extremely fast with no wait time. I was put in a room and I undressed and soon they came and prepared me for the shots in my back and hips. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I had a great experience for my first time. I'm fixing to go back for my shots in the neck and knees. They're also going to kill the nerves in my back and I hope it helps like they say it will.
