I have had the absolute worst experience with Dr. Matt in the diabets clinic, he is very rude, he’s obnoxious, and has no sympathy for his patients and their family’s. He threaten to call child services on me, because I am a first time parent of a child with type 1 diabets, I am a single mother, a working mother who has done her best to try to help my daughter control her diabets, and haven’t had the best help with it. Assumed because my fiance was open and honest about his mental health, that he "googled" his symptoms. The nurses we had were rude and non helpful. Ultimatey they gave him some med for stomach pains he was having and sent him home, after 2 hours of sitting there with NO contact. Next time I'll take my chances with driving to Madison.
I am not comfortable with the out patient pediatric clinics prescribing birth control. You advertise as the Nation's only freestanding Catholic hospital and yet, you liberally prescribe birth control. I can not understand why. If a young lady has an issue with her period giving her birth control does nothing but mask an underlying problem. Birth control is notorious for causing additional health concerns and more importantly, should the young woman become pregnant on birth control she could lose the baby. RecommendedOther than the stress of trying to obtain a co-morbid diagnosis to satisfy insurance requirements (I'm apparently a very healthy obese woman because finding a problem was hard. Recommendedmy grandson spent 9.5 months in the NICU. The staff was the absolute best and treated the family with love and respect. my grandson has been on outpatient dialysis since he left the hospital. He is 2.5 years old now and the staff at the hospital has become family. I could not ask for better treatment for my boy. Thank you staff for all your hard work and compassion.
