The ferry takes passengers, autos, RVs, tour buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial trucks across Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin from mid-May through mid-October.

We took the ferrywhile on a America by rail tour. It was awesome to watch our tour bus being backed on the ferry. My husband and I thourly enjoyed the trip. The staff took very good care of us on the tour, let us board and depart together which was very nice.
Just wrapped up another great season aboard the Badger! Traveled about 6 times and each time was wonderful! Thanks to Connie in reservations-always accommodating! Nate for great entertainment! The car runners for not only always keeping our car/dog near the stern, but for also adding a sun shade today as we sailed across this am with the sun beaming right in the car! I had such a fun trip and loved learning about this piece of history - so cool that a steam ship still exists! It was such a fun experience and I highly recommend it to anyone. I thought the staff was friendly and I loved having a break from driving on my trip from Michigan to Minnesota. Great work, S.S. Badger!

Excellent Ferry it only took 4 hours to come across from Ludington Michigan to Manitowoc Wisconsin I would do it again
