I generally liked this place. The ambience is nice and the service was great. The food was good, though not great. What was really awesome were the spiked milk shakes. Loved em.

Nice atmosphere for drinks and dinner. Very unique options on menu.

I had a steak with fries. The fries were good. The steak and the bacon butter were both flavorless. The bacon butter was more unsalted butter than bacon, and was a little too chilled to melt onto my steak without coaxing. The steak itself was well cooked but barely seasoned. The bright point was the rum raisin bread pudding. It was made in the traditional way. Rustic with chunks of bread, and it was not too moist or too dry. The brown butter ice cream on top gave it some additional flavor. Great customer service at the bar.

In the mood for something different, my friends and I decided to venture to Square Peg, a new restaurant at the intersection of 10th and Walnut. The restaurant describes itself as diner inspired. I would call it a casual twist on new American with a heavy southern influence. The inside of the restaurant features a lot of wood and exposed brick.
