The location is great! Rooms are comfortable and newly remodeled. Restaurant is convenient and has beautiful views but food is blahhh... The good news is that you don't have to dine there and instead can take a stroll along the cliffs to a few other "cliffhanger" joints like Dolphin Bay for a really nice (but pricey) meal. In short, I would highly recommend this place for this location is very hard to beat)))
Wish we'd had more time to enjoy our stay.

The lady at the front desk was extremely rude when I tried to check in. That threw the entire stay off. We drove in all the way from Tulsa Oklahoma for a wedding and had expected to check in at 3, like I was told. Upon arriving however, I was told our room wouldn't be ready until 430. We didn't have anywhere to go, so we waited in our car in the parking lot. The room itself was nice enough. No air conditioning unit; the website failed to mention. AMAZING views. Room was spacious and beautiful. Memories I will never forget making with the love of my life on our Motorcycle ride on the coastline of California. Food at restaurant on site was wonderful, excellent service. Our room was the one that is posted on here many times and was decorated perfectly. No noise issues. Wish the people near us were not smoking on the patio. With the doors open, the smoke comes back into the room. I think there should be smoking rules. This was the most beautiful hotel we had on our trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Our room was incredible - the view: amazing! We can totally recommend this hotel to everyone going along the coast looking for a nice place to chill out.
Great view if you get an ocean view. There is no AC in the room we stayed in and the room was warm during the evening. There was a cieling fan. Had to keep the slider open at night for the fresh air. Not a big deal as the nights are real cool. The desk was off limits as it seemed like it was going to fall over at any time. And the pull out sleeper was wired shut. Nice and big clean room! Friendly staff a tiny bit loud due to the 101 being so close but over all a good spot and great deal
The view is spectacular and they have very helpful and friendly staff.
