Absolutely FANTASTIC experience!!! – Was looking for a major change, so decided to try this salon because it sounded different and unique. It was an absolutely wonderful experience from the moment I walked in the door. I was expecting to spend a lot of time explaining but Rachel seemed to "get it" within seconds. Sprout is special! – My sister suggested I try Sprout because she had received a great cut from the owner, Rachel, before Rachel opened her own space. This salon is in Hamden and it has a hip, friendly boho feel, like so much of Baltimore. I have naturally curly hair and so does Rachel. She wielded a razor like a warrior woman and I left with the world's cutest and most flattering bob and a brand new look. Most talented stylist – Actually, I have yet to visit Sprout Salon itself but had haircuts from Rachael when she did it from home. She's a great stylist... listens to what you want, pays a lot of attention to her cutting... makes you feel like you're getting your money's worth. cliff is truly the best! – Cliff is forever my stylist. He just won Best Stylist in City Paper's Best of Baltimore issue and it really is the truth. From the way he handles himself on the floor with his clients, his appearance, and his gift with shears, to his tight presence as an honest to God professional. This kid knows what's up! I would suggest making your appointment now for the future- he gets booked fast. The head massage at the shampoo chair is an unbelievable bonus.

You'll look like Sprout after a Cut Here! – I am super picky about my hair. I usually get it cut in NYC, or L.A., but have been searching for a decent person in the Baltimore area where I actually live. I went to Sprout b/c of the good reviews, awesome space, and location. Sprout is the BEST Salon in the WORLD! * please note: previous statement is not hyperbole (= – WoWeeWoWwowWoW! My experience at Sprout was the best hair related experience of my life. The whole vibe is happy and relaxed. The staff is incredibly talented and knowledgeable about their products, processes and benefits of organic products. Baltimore's Best Salon – WOW! I love this salon. From the interior design to the very of-the-moment cuts, everything about it speaks of attention to detail without pretention, high style, without the high price tag. What really impressed me though was how Rachael Epstein, the salon owner really seemed to listen to what I wanted out of my haircut, and also was able to give me a cut that suited by face. LOOKING & FEELING GOOD!!! – I was turned onto Sprout through a friend, so I decided to check them out. My hair was getting a little long & looking like I play in a grunge band (which I don't & don't particularly prefer).
